Academicians meet to discuss Yash Pal Committee report

A large number of academicians, including principals and vice-chancellors of various colleges and universities, met here today to discuss the Yash Pal Committee report on higher education, according to Pankaj Chandra, director of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B). - Celebrating achievement - This budget will not pass - New IIMs raise mentorship concerns - Celebrity profs - IIM-B to set up committee to raise Rs 100 cr - Studying at IIM-B gets costlier, fee up by Rs 1.5 lakh The discussion was held to decide upon ways to implement the committee’s recommendations.
