Asian markets end in green

Asian markets ended mostly in green. The Nikkei added 74 points to 10,982. The Hang Seng, however, slipped 63 points to 21,654. - Lacklustre trade continues - Markets flat in noon trades - Sensex continues to move flat - Sensex opens positive - FIIs net buyers Rs 254cr in F&O on Thursday - Finolex Cables zooms on Q3 numbers The Taiwan Weighted advanced 67 points to 8,356. The Seoul Composite gained 16 points (1%) at 1,701. The Shanghai Composite and the Straits Times were up marginally at 3,224 and 2,912, respectively. __________________________________________________ (Updated at 0814 hrs) Asian markets are lacklustre in morning trades. The Hang Seng has slipped 33 points to 21,684. The Nikkei has dropped 18 points to 10,889. Taiwan Weighted has added 46 points to 8,336.The Seoul Composite has advanced 13 points to 1,698. Straits Times is up 10 points at 2,919. Shanghai Composite is trading flat.

M&M erases gains, ends down 1%
The stock erased all its gains and slipped into the negative terrain to touch a low of Rs 1,005. The stock finally ended at at Rs 1010, down 1% from its previous close. The counter clocked volumes of 136,077 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 147,279 shares on the BSE.
