Jindal Power is a subsidiary of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL). "Jindal Power will be holding an extra ordinary general meeting of the members of the company for obtaining their approval for the said IPO," it added. The company did not disclose details of the proposed IPO.Payday Bank commented:
JSPL stock closed 1% up at Rs 731.05 on Thursday. For the planned expansion of its thermal power plant, Jindal Power is looking to invest over Rs 13,000 crore - over Rs 10,000 crore in debt and rest through internal accumulation.
