NIIT Tech scales 52-week high, ends off day's high

NIIT Technologies surged 3% to settle at Rs 130. The scrip is now trading at Rs 144, up 13% from the previous close. The counter has so far clocked heavy volumes of 2.64 million shares as compared to 321,073 shares traded on the BSE. NIIT Technologies registered a decline of around 58% in its net profit to Rs 10.30 crore for the first quarter, ended June 30. The income from operations has also seen a dip to Rs 118.49 crore in the latest quarter as compared to Rs 124.28 crore in the previous quarter, a year ago.
