Reliance Power profit rises 26%

The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s Reliance Power today reported a 26.45 per cent rise in its third quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 133.64 crore, against Rs 105.68 crore in the year-ago period. - PTC Q3 net dips 33% to Rs 15 cr - Oracle Financial Services Q3 net dips 14% to Rs 227 cr - Glenmark Pharma net up 15.5% - Lupin"s consistent growth continues - Apollo Tyres net, sales surge - GMR Infra net down 85% Its consolidated total income rose to Rs 179.15 crore for the December quarter from Rs 131.30 crore a year ago, Reliance Power said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 61.13 crore during the third quarter of this financial year, while it was at Rs 107.07 crore during the same quarter last year. Shares of Reliance Power today settled at Rs 145.95, up 0.86 per cent on the BSE.
